The beds were clean & comfortable, showers and toilets were clean, and the cooked breakfast was excellent value for money. the staff at the reception were very helpful and friendly. the kitchen was well-equipped for self-catering. the location was ideal for walking along Stanage Edge and exploring the Peak District. the hostel had a friendly atmosphere and was centrally located in Hathersage, close to the rail station.

yha hathersage is the best! the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and helped me with everything. the location is ideal, with easy access to bus routes and the train station. the facilities are top-notch, especially the well-equipped kitchen. exceeded all my expectations!
Boot room needs improvement. boots didn't dry properly overnight.

Great location for exploring, close to tourist hotspots and hiking spots. Friendly staff and convenient refillable water units. Comfortable room for a good night's sleep after long hikes. Good kitchen facilities for self-catering. Superb breakfast and welcoming staff.
